Assistant Professor

I study how Americans think about democracy in an era of polarized politics and how presidents influence conceptions of democratic norms. Broadly, my research interests include survey methodology, experimental methods, presidential influence, voter behavior, presidential elections, and gender and politics. I graduated with a PhD in political science from Stanford University in 2022, and from Brigham Young University with a BA in Political Science in 2016.
