Civic Engagement Minor
Civic Engagement Minor
The Civic Engagement Minor is designed to provide students and faculty with the appropriate skills and meaningful opportunities to become engaged in their respective communities. The minor seeks to promote civic service and to encourage everyone to find ways to solve the important problems around them.
Add value to your undergraduate educational experiences by adding specific training in leadership and organizational skills, as well as practical hands-on opportunities. Studying civic engagement will expose students to practitioners through both classroom interactions and their own off-campus experiences in civic engagement.
BYU Civic Engagement invites all students to heed the call to "Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve."
“Verily I say, men should be anxiously engaged in a good cause, and do many things of their own free will, and bring to pass much righteousness."
