Tayla is a junior studying political science with minors in international development and economics. She has enjoyed many opportunities to be a teaching assistant, research assistant, and global politics fellow during her time at BYU. These opportunities have inspired in her a love for data-driven solutions that work for the real world. After graduating from BYU, she plans to pursue a PhD in public policy focusing on sustainable international development. Outside of the political science department, Tayla has been a performing arts technician, traveled to China, and participated in the honors program. When she’s not trying to survive school, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband and family.
