Employment opportunity with Pi Sigma Alpha and
BYU Political Science.
Pi Sigma Alpha needs student assistance over the next three or four months. The work involves the processing of membership applications, printing certificates, and helping maintain the membership database. Pay is competitive and there is some flexibility in hours, but with the expectation that the student would work at least 12-15 hours a week.  Experience with managing databases and attention to detail is important in this position. Work on this project will begin as early as the beginning of next week (March 8, 2021).

JOB OPPORTUNITY
Dr. Celeste Beesley is looking for a Ukrainian- (preferred) or Russian-speaking RA to assist her with data collection on some projects. A social science major with some Stata skills would be ideal, but not a hard requirement. The job would be 5 hours a week, and the pay is $11/hour.

Hickman Research Lecture
March 11, 11am. Speaker: Kelly Patterson.
The Hickman Lecture is presented annually by a faculty member who received the Martin B. Hickman Scholar Award for being a distinguished faculty member whose professional contributions to the college emulate excellence. The 2020–21 award recipient is Dr. Kelly Patterson in the Department of Political Science.
