The BYU Public Health Department is conducting a research project entitled BYU Campus Conversations. Students will engage in structured conversations about controversial topics such as belonging, relationships, and free speech/cancel culture. Participants will be eligible to receive a $25 Amazon gift card. The current conversation dates and topics are:
  • March 28 @ 5 PM - Topic: Marriage and Relationships
  • April 4 @ 12:30 PM - Topic: Belonging
Summer Institute for Human Rights
This dynamic Summer Institute provides a rich and comprehensive understanding of human rights in the place where it all started - Paris. Graduate and undergraduate students in law and diplomacy, as well as mid-career professionals, can explore the vibrancy of human rights through multidisciplinary expert lectures, interactive coursework and a documentary film series.

Job and Internship Opportunities

The Utah Governor's office is now accepting applications for the Fall Fellowship program.


This program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain experience in public service and leadership.   Fellows work directly with members of the governor's senior staff and contribute to many meaningful projects. Students will receive $15 per hour for their service from August to December. 

The application portal for our Fall Fellowship program is open now through April 28, 2023. If there are any questions, their website provides helpful information.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: Asia Area Opportunities.
Information session regarding employment in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! All are welcome to attend and bring questions! This information session will introduce how to find opportunities of all kinds for the Church, the process, culture and qualifications. Jake Hsu represents the Asia Area covering 21 countries in Asia, however they are happy to explain the US opportunities and hiring process for those attending and interested.

They want to make a special invitation to anyone who has (or hasn't yet) thought about working for the Church, and in particular has a love of Asia and would be interested living in (or from) Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Pakistan, or others! Again, anyone from anywhere, with any major is welcome!

Interns Needed
The district office of U.S. Congressman John Curtis here in Provo, UT is recruiting interns for the summer. In the District office, interns may be asked to do a variety of things, including day-to-day office work such as answering phones, writing letters and assisting with media clips. In addition, interns may be assigned to assist in various constituent case work or work on District-based projects of importance.
