GCAS Seminar
Professor Michael Loadenthal, executive director of the Peace and Justice Studies Association, is offering a free 6-day seminar focused on the siege of the US Capitol. The course will focus on collectively building conceptual models to understand the networks of actors involved and to develop ideological, affiliation, and network maps to unpack what went down on January 6, how we got to this historical position, and what it means going forward. 
 
The deadline to register is April 2, and there is limited enrollment. All class sessions will be 7-9pm ET, April 6-11, 2021.

In celebration of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Diplomats in Residence, Danielle Harms (DIR NY Metro) and Kris Sivertson (DIR Texas), will host a three-part panel discussion with women who will share their experiences of how they contribute to reinforcing democracy through their careers in the Foreign Service.
