Political Science News
Sigma is Brigham Young University’s undergraduate journal focused on political and international studies. If you are considering a career in academia, security and intelligence, public policy, or are considering graduate school, then consider working and publishing with Sigma as a serious resume builder. Post-secondary schools and professionals alike are looking for bright minds who can draw substantive conclusions from research studies.

We encourage students to submit a variety of papers completed during their time at BYU. These articles can be related to Political Science, International Relations, or a related field. We accept the following types of articles: qualitative research, quantitative research, capstone papers, policy briefs, book reviews and experimental & survey research. We do not expect students to submit perfect papers. If your paper is accepted, we will work with you throughout the semester to review and edit your paper thoroughly so that it is ready to be published. The Sigma Journal is published yearly, both in print and online.

The early deadline for submission is September 23, 2022 and the final deadline is December 23, 2022. We are also looking for editors for the paper. For more information, view the flyer attached to this email, visit sigma.byu.edu or email us at byusigmajournal@gmail.com. We look forward to possibly working with you in the future!
